Street Velodrome

Background:

Street Velodrome is a pop-up track cycling event, which enables any high street or public space to be turned into a cycle sport arena. Unique to the UK, the pop-up appeared in 10 cities in 2014 and pitted teams of professional riders against amateur riders who qualify. 

Objectives:

apt were asked to create a range of material to attract both cyclists and potential investors. In addition we created comprehensive documents which outlined the benefits of sponsoring the events as well as bespoke brochures explaining the logistics for cities interested in holding an event themselves.

Actions:

We created an eye-catching set of illustrations that were used for commercial, sponsorship and customer-focussed collateral, including pop-up banners, brochures and flyers. 

Results:

The client was so delighted with the designs we have created that they also applied to their website and other tools created prior to our involvement.
