APT Academy - Bethan

By apt academy

Dogs. Biscuits. Tea.

When these 3 things are involved in work experience, you just know it’s going to be a good week.

Arriving through the door on Monday morning, I honestly had no idea of what to expect for the upcoming week of my work experience here at apt. Would I be able to handle the jobs I was given? Would I fit in with the team? Were they just going to want to get rid of me?

Sat here with a cup of tea in one hand and a cookie in the other, I can confirm that these questions I had were merely worries, squashed within the first few minutes of me arriving. Everyone here is so lovely and welcoming, so much so that I am definitely going to miss being in the office next week. I was given responsibility for various tasks (tasks which I can thankfully say were not just stapling or photocopying!) such as creating blog posts and designing social media infographics, and if I was unsure or need any assistance, Jess gave me all the help or advice I needed.

I have learnt so much within the past week and can’t wait to put the skills I have gained into good use in the future. I honestly cannot thank the team enough for my time here and wish them all the best for the future.

Anyone looking for or interested in some work experience revolving around marketing would most definitely benefit from ringing up apt to enquire!
