Gloucestershire Star Talent Success

On Friday 20th November, the apt team attended the fabulous and entertaining Gloucestershire’s Star Talent event at Cheltenham Town Hall – and what a night it was!

In aid of the National Star, #GlosStarTalent showcased Gloucestershire’s local business people trying their hand at a brand new talent! Some even trained for months before the show, but their enthusiasm really did shine through. The event was hosted by Gary Haseley-Nejrup and Dr Dawn Harper, and featured some very special guest judges – Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen (Our very own Simon Cowell), The Countess Bathurst, Jill Douglas and Tweedy the Clown who stepped in for Nell Gifford.

National Star is a brilliant organisation that provides people with disabilities the support, skills and opportunities they need to be prepared for the best that life can offer. On top of the text voting the audience participated in, they also raised additional funds through a raffle with prizes generously donated by businesses: Everyman Theatre, H.R.Owen, Star Bistro, Cheltenham Town FC, Cheltenham Racecourse and Jamie’s Italian.

We are very proud to have sponsored this event in aid of such an incredible cause and it was brilliant to see the contestants come out of their shell! We hope everyone who attended had as much fun as we did!
