After their successful campaign last year with the launch of ‘fanny’ cans to rival Coca-Cola’s ‘Share a Coke’ campaign, Irn-Bru is set to continue their ‘Gets You Through’ campaign by re-running three of their most popular adverts, in the North of England and Scotland.
The three adverts, ‘Baby’, ‘Steamy Windows’ and ‘New Fella’ take a light-hearted approach to show how Irn-Bru can help consumers to get through difficult situations including a daughter bringing home her English boyfriend and his bulldog to meet her Scottish Dad.
The adverts are to be aired to “enhance its role as Proud Supporter of The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games”. Troy Brown, Head of Marketing for A G Barr commented, “The adverts reflect the cheeky, maverick attitude for which Irn-Bru is well-loved and reinforce the message that whatever life throws at you, Irn-Bru ‘Gets You Through’.
The adverts definitely put a smile on our faces each time we see them and we look forward to seeing any new adverts that they launch in the near future.
