Lynda Bellingham Fans Urge Oxo To Bring Back Christmas Advert

Fans of Lynda Bellingham have set up a Facebook page to try and persuade Oxo to bring back the classic Christmas advert that Lynda starred in for 16 years.

After battling Colon Cancer for a year, Lynda decided to stop her treatment in order to have the energy to spend this Christmas with her family. Fans have started this fitting tribute for the advert to be played over the festive period and so far the Facebook page has received almost 130,000 likes.

Since setting up the page, and following announcements from Good Morning Britain and national newspapers, the organiser has received the following response from the Oxo team:

“Hi Beverley, thank you for getting in touch. Lynda was a truly inspirational woman and our thoughts are with her family and friends. We have been listening to all the feedback which we do value greatly and we are passing all comments onto our team. The OXO Team”

Fans on the Facebook page are also trying to get Lynda’s autobiography to number 1 in the book charts and have also set up a text code with Cancer Research for donations to their colon cancer research department.

We think that this would be a fitting tribute to Lynda and would be a perfect way for Oxo to pay tribute to Lynda who will be remembered by many as the Oxo mum.

This was the final Oxo advert that Lynda starred in:
