On the 23rd of December, Disneyland Paris tweeted out reporting a missing duckling, sporting the hashtag #whereistheduckling. On the 25th, they revealed that he had been ‘found’.
The adorable advert shows a little white ducking who is utterly obsessed with his Donald Duck comic, but when his family migrate he has to leave his comic behind. The family have to undergo an unforeseen landing because of a thunderstorm, but after it passes the sad little ducking gets the surprise of his life. There he is, standing in front of the real Donald Duck at Disneyland Paris. Disneyland really is a place where dreams come true.
The Disneyland Paris adverts have been full of magic since the very first one aired in the 1990’s, but this little duck was the first to bring a tear to our eye, and it proved extremely popular on social media.
