apt worked with the Marketing Cheltenham team to ensure that the partnership was ready to launch in November 2017. Activity included sales collateral setting out the aims and objectives, membership documents and a newly created brand and identity for Visit Cheltenham / Marketing Cheltenham.
Marketing Cheltenham’s remit is to encourage more visitors to the town, get them to stay longer and support the local tourism, hospitality and leisure economy. This, in turn, will support economic growth – new jobs, business creation – and culture for the continued benefit of local people.
Prior to the official launch of Marketing Cheltenham in 2017, apt designed a brochure which explained the purpose of the organisation, plans going forward and what to expect in 2018. The brochure was in the newly created brand and identity for Visit Cheltenham / Marketing Cheltenham for the local economy.
We organised a launch event in November 2017 and invited local hotelliers, visitor attractions, retailers and independent businesses to find out what Marketing Cheltenham was set to deliver and how it could support their business.
Over 100 people joined us for the official launch at Cheltenham Racecourse. We went on to secure 615 members and affiliate members by April 2019.
