My Week at APT - Sophie Ford

As I arrived on Monday I was greeted by the friendliest group of people here at APT, also two gorgeous dogs who have really made this placement a really enjoyable week. Also, always having tea at my desk was a fabulous bonus, if you love getting fed tea and coffee all day, this is the place for you!

I began the week being super eager to gain experience in PR and the social media side of the business, being really motivated to start working in a professional environment. I was given the responsibility to carry on with creating social media content for the Twitter feeds throughout the week, which really helped me gain the experience I wanted.

Everyone here at APT couldn’t have made me feel more welcome throughout my week here. From being given loads of advice, words of encouragement and picking up loads of new skills throughout the week, to even enjoying the occasional cheeky chocolate bar, with plenty of chit chat.

Overall, I have learnt plenty of the skills I started the week wanting to learn, with ease and a lot of help and encouragement from the team. Everyone has been super helpful in my time here, especially Zotti with the frequent vocal inputs! I will miss everyone here at APT and will definitely recommend work experience to anyone with a keen eye for marketing, PR and social media.
