Change4Life, the Government’s national initiative to encourage people to change to a healthy lifestyle kicks off today with its newest campaign, ‘Smart Restart’. The scheme, aimed at getting rid of unhealthy habits families might have picked up during the summer holidays, uses the new school year as a fresh start.
The latest advertisement proves as thought provoking as its predecessors. This time the mum cleverly reshapes the plasticine models of her children, demonstrating healthier choices; including walking to school and eating nutritious packed lunches. This advertisement is clever, not only does it vividly advise children on what they should be doing to stay healthy; it raises awareness that parents should be setting an example and helping their children achieve this lifestyle.
Here in the office we are fond of the Government’s initiative and we are all for Change4Life (even though we do enjoy cake, sweets and chocolate every now and then) so we are happy to see the campaign return to our TV’s, radios, online and even SMS.
