The past week at apt has certainly been different; particularly in comparison to a normal school day, where I would usually be learning about why this and that happens and why I should use GRIPPER’s 3P’s! Apt has given me the opportunity to put some of these into action. From working on websites like Cheltenham Bikes to researching pet cemeteries, I was head to toe buried in contrasting work I would normally never have had to think about.
I was honoured to find that – from the first day - I would be working on real projects that could actually be used. I had prepared myself for the notion that I would be asked to use the photo copier and to make hot drinks all week. However, I was surprised to find that I was the one being asked if I wanted a drink (which was strange because I knew I should’ve been the one making it for them).
For me, the best part of being at apt was being around the array of personalities here; they are not only extremely lovely but interesting, funny and full of stories. Working at apt has helped me to find the spark that I needed, to think about what I want for the future. Thank you so much to everyone at apt for having me!
