Big Brand Banter

With all this sunshine it seems brands are coming together online to support each other by bouncing around ideas.

O2 has launched a new ad featuring a cat which decides that it would enjoy life more as a dog. Chasing its tail, digging holes, catching Frisbees and even shaking its fur after a swim! O2 ended the advert encouraging watchers to tweet using #bemoredog, but were they prepared for what was to follow?

The banter between brands O2, Innocent Drinks, Tango and Betfair kicked off after Innocent Drinks tweeted the following:

O2 were quick to tweet back with “@innocentdrinks This is actually a cat dressed up as a dog showing everyone how to #bemoredog ;)”

The feed continued with posts and pictures from the brands of animals dressed to look like other animals and costumes, here are two of our favourites:

We think that this light humour between the four major brands shows how even in the face of competition, the summer sun can bring out the friendly and funny side in all of us, here’s to hoping the sun stays out!
