Creative Uses Of Snow

Whilst we're all shivering in our office here at apt we thought it would be nice to share some creative ads using snow as their theme - we're nothing if not topical!

JeanClaudeSnowAngelCoorsLight

A favourite whether you're a lager drinker or not, the latest TV ad for Coors Light had everyone smiling over Christmas. Created by VCCP Blue, it shows Jean Claude Van Damme making snow angels whilst singing the eighties tune ‘Take my breath away’. An instant classic!

Crisissnowpreview

On a more sombre, but equally effective note, this tactical ad created by Rapp London for the homeless charity Crisis is a stark reminder that snow isn't all about days off work and sledging.

Polo-mints-snow-stamp
A wonderful ambient campaign from JWT London uses a mould of the iconic Polo mint to magically conjure up giant mints all over the city... simple but beautifully effective!

Snowglobe1mini4

And the launch of the first 4WD Mini provided a great excuse for landing a huge snowglobe on the streets of New York (which is yet to see snow this Winter but we loved the campaign from 2011 enough to put it in!). Located outside Macy's department store, it was produced by Mini USA.

While we look forward to the ice and snow melting away this weekend, it was fun while it lasted!
