Get Lucky With Daft Punk Condoms

Daft Punk is next in line to team up with condom brand Durex after the floppy launch of the JLS ‘Love Safe’ condoms in 2010. If you’re a bit turned off by the face of Marvin Humes, singer of soon-to-be defunct boy band JLS, appearing on your condom packets, Daft Punk has come to the rescue to help you ‘Get Lucky’ with their latest piece of Daft Punk merchandise.

The French duo has teamed up with condom-manufacturing giant Durex to create condom packets with the album artwork of their chart-topping comeback, Random Access Memories; meanwhile Durex has been shipping the condoms out to high-profile DJs across the world in a bid to promote the product. Earlier this week, US DJ and producer Diplo posted a picture to Instagram of an open pack of the ‘Get Lucky’ range, and the caption ‘Thank God I had those Daft Punk condoms last night’.

The range, inspired by Daft Punk’s summer hit ‘Get Lucky’,  is due to go on sale in mainland Europe before being made available across stores and supermarkets here in the UK. The number one track featuring rap-icon Pharrell Williams and Chic’s Nile Rodgers has become the first single of 2013 to reach one million sales in the UK. Although Daft Punk got lucky with their sales, we’ll have to wait and see whether this streak of luck will continue for Durex and their avid condom-buyers once the product hits the UK!
