Last night was of course none other than the Gloucestershire Business Awards 2013; designed to showcase, support and recognise the best in Gloucestershire Businesses, categories include everything from Environment, to Export and of course the coveted Business of the Year trophy.
Held at The Centaur in Cheltenham Racecourse, last night included a record number of attendees, with over 780 tickets sold! Kudos to Gloucestershire Media on that one!
The night started with a drinks reception in the foyer, followed by a three-course sit-down meal; entertainment was provided in the form of a showdance troupe, who had muscles where none should really exist! The night wouldn't of course be complete without a live tweet feed, which ended up 5 minutes behind from the volume of tweets, plus the nifty #Instaglam widget from @neonplay - Gloucestershire's very own answer to Instagram. Oh and one more thing; the video of Gloucestershire's answer to Nickleback was hilarious!

We digress; the important thing is of course the finalists and winners. It is safe to say that the room was full of Gloucestershire's biggest and brightest and there are some absolutely fantastic businesses here in Gloucestershire; it is certainly a creative hub!
