Heinz Jump Through Hoops To Improve Labels

Following news of their personalised labels, Heinz has just unveiled a new label for their pasta range; the new design places emphasis on the nutritional value of the products, as well as revitalising the dated design.

Heinz is hoping that their products will stand out to busy parents who don’t have enough time to cook meals from scratch, looking for  a healthy alternative. Heinz is promoting that one of their tins of spaghetti hoops contains a whole tomato counting as 1 of your 5 a day and has no preservatives and low fat and sugar levels.

Here at apt we think that their new labels are a definite improvement on their old labels. The labels are more vibrant and are more appealing with the addition of steaming hoops and a juicy tomato. We also love that they have kept their unique brand shape around their “1 of your 5 a day” promotion rather than stating it in the same format other brands do.

Katie Bleach, Marketing Controller said, “It is essential we use the packaging to bring to life how much goodness is squeezed into every serving, especially when a crucial segment of our target market is busy mums whose children are graduating from the infant feeding category into more grown up foods”.
