Search Engines Just Got More Beautiful

Yes, we all know that Google changes its banner so that we're not staring at the same logo every time we log on, but the folks at Niice have taken things a step further by creating a visual search engine that collects imagery from only creative sources, resulting in a frame-based grid of wonderfully eclectic images with a modern, design-based focus.

Niice simply collects graphic imagery from three design-led sources: Dribbble, Behance and DesignInspiration, all of which collate and share creative material from a huge variety of sources. By hooking into the Niice search engine, you have access to a visual Smörgåsbord of logos, illustrations and colours - perfect if you're looking for inspiration for that pesky branding project, or just suffering from creative block.

The site was created by Armstrong & Co in Northern Ireland, who describe it as 'a search engine with taste'. We certainly agree here at apt - below are a few examples of what we searched for in the office. We're looking forward to using this site to kick-start our thinking for our next creative projects!
