Support The Butterfly Garden

Here at apt, we absolutely love The Butterfly Garden project. For those of you who may not have heard about the fantastic work they do, The Butterfly Garden provides an educational, therapeutic and recreational scheme for adults of all ages who are dealing with any kind of - personal challenge. Tucked away in the Cheltenham countryside, The Butterfly Garden provides people with a truly inspiring place to be themselves,  learn and enjoy through fun activities, events and organised trips.

This year Chris Evans, Trustee of The Butterfly Garden has organised two events that require support, so please help us to spread the word!

Ukulele Festival Picnic

Taking place at The Butterfly Garden Amphitheatre, the Ukulele Festival Picnic will involve performances and group jams for people to enjoy. The festival will take place on Friday 7th August from 6:30pm – 9:30pm, be sure to bring your own picnic, chairs, blankets and of course, your Ukulele and friends!

BFG does HOC

In an effort to raise understanding, The Butterfly Garden has worked to introduce their students to the world by invited visits, hosted parties and meetings to rise to certain challenges. This autumn, The Butterfly Garden aims to host a tea party for the students to enjoy, however the venue for this particular tea party is the House of Commons. They have hired the Westminster Terrace, the largest catering space at the House of Commons for the event on Wednesday 28th of October. Political, civic and industrial figures will be invited and 100 representatives of the sector will host the afternoon. It is hoped that people will join them from all areas of supported service to entertain up to 200 visitors. The event is booked, the deposit paid, all that remains is to raise £6,000.00!

For more information on both of these fabulous events, please visit The Butterfly Garden website.

We love the work that The Butterfly Garden do and think that it’s absolutely excellent for  people to have a positive space to enjoy, socialise and be creative. We would really appreciate if you could raise money and share our blog on social media to help The Butterfly Garden receive the best possible support for what we think will be an informative and inspiring event. Thank you!
