The Facebook Like Plays Dress Up With The Help Of Jaime Calderon 1

Some of you social networking-enthusiasts might agree that when you stumble across something so mind-blowingly awesome on Facebook, a ‘like’ simply doesn’t fully show your appreciation for such a post. Like many of us, Bogota-based graphic designer Jaime Calderón has experienced a need for a ‘super like’ option; reimagining the iconic, thumbs-up ‘like’ symbol, using the characteristics of a handful of well-known superheroes. Calderón’s work, which was posted on his Behance! page, features the names of our favourite Marvel Comic characters, from Superman to The Green Lantern, Batman to Wolverine and so on, giving a refreshing and entertaining spin on the ubiquitous Facebook icon. One of the ‘Super Likes’ icons we find most amusing is that of The Flash – whose icon appears as it is on its way out of the frame, due to his incredible super-speed!

We really love this concept at apt and think perhaps the next step for Calderón could be to create a Villains ‘dislike’ series to prompt Facebook to introduce the much needed feature.
