We regularly receive round-ups from YouTube, but this week’s instalment, titled ‘Geek Week’, has been particularly engaging; the social video sharing site has been promoting videos, games and characters that we all secretly love. The main videos, hosted by Red Dwarf character Kryten, brought a different category each day, including; Blockbuster Sunday, Brainiac Tuesday and Gaming Thursday.
We’ve listed a few of our favourite things that we’ve found this week:
- The YouTube Logo – we just love the geeky glasses!
- Type in “Use the force Luke” and “Beam me up Scotty” to see your screen take on effects, replicating Star Wars and Star Trek.
- We also had fun taking the Geek IQ Test, our office highest score so far has been 220 ‘The Geek Is Strong In You’. You can take the test here and see how ‘geeky’ you are.
- Jamie Oliver’s Fantasy Foods Made Real, including; Pokemon Poffins, Skyrim Sweetrolls, Krabby Patty Burgers and our favourite Mario Mushroom Cake Pops.
