Cheltenham Beauty Week Launch

Background:

Cheltenham Beauty Week, organised by Cheltenham BID. The week will saw local businesses participate with dedicated offers and initiatives with a beauty focus. From discount treatments at salons to free samples and gifts in stores, the ambition is to put Cheltenham beauty businesses on the map.

Objective:

Promote and advertise the first Cheltenham Beauty Week to attract tourism and get beauty in Cheltenham on the map.

Action:

APT took up shop in an empty space within the Regent Arcade to create a pop-up 'Cheltenham Beauty Week' area which was filled with free mini treatments with therapists from local Spas offering arm & hand massage, scalp massage and shoulder massage for 10 min slots which also featured free goody bags, a week long calendar of beauty week events and local celebrity appearances such as Miss Cheltenham.

Results:

Encouraging as many businesses as possible in Cheltenham to participate, highlights included a living window with tattooists from the Tokyo Tattoo Shop in the centre of the High Street and beauty demonstrations night and day from the Boots and House of Fraser team.

Businesses involved in the event were: Boots, Marks & Spencer, Nicholas White, Jo Malone, Monrose, The Body Shop, Laura Leigh Hairdressing, Chapel Spa, Supersavers, Cygnini Clinic, The Nutrition Centre, Neals Yard, Molton Brown, Cowley Manor, Lush Cosmetics, Martin & Phelps, House of Fraser, Tokyo Tattoo, Harper & Cooper Opticians, Topshop, Ellenborough Park and more!
